(槟城29日讯)马青总秘书魏家祥说,在过去两周,有3家跨国公司表示他们接获指示,在聘用工程师和以上高职须遵守土著45%,华裔35%,印裔17%及其他3%的政府政策。
华裔高职逾35%须解释他说,如果有关公司聘用超过35%的华裔高职人员配额,必须提呈书面解释。其中一家是在槟城投资的跨国公司。
魏家祥周六为马青槟州分团干训营主办的“大选工作营”开幕后,在记者会上这么说。出席者有马青槟州分团团长黄泉益和署理团长陈德钦。
他认为这并不合逻辑,根据他曾经在1990年至2000年担任第二国家经济咨询理事会成员,并参与制定2000年至2010年经济策划报告书,内容中未提到这项政策。而且据他了解,政府内部也不曾讨论。
他说,以种族来指定的职业结构分配,并非针对整体,而是指向工程师和以上的高职,而工程系又是华裔偏爱选读的科目。他有理由相信这是一小撮“小拿破仑”在搞鬼,政府并没有授权他们这么做,是他们把个人想法贯彻在个人议程上。小撮“小拿破仑”搞鬼“虽然我暂时还没有搞清楚这是哪些政府官员发出的通令,不过我已经掌握那几个涉及的部门。” 他透露已经取得其中一家跨国公司接到指令的证据,不过由于涉及公司机密,他暂时不方便出示。
据他掌握的资料,其中一些政府官员是通过电话逼这些公司就范以打压华裔人才。他说,马青总团长廖中莱也接获类似投诉,他们将在这几天里揪出真凶,纠正这项行政偏差,把问题带到国会及内阁,使事情获得圆满解决。

Why must a company puts engineer and higher post hiring quota in place especially according to racial? Is this the decision that has been made in cabinet without agreement from others long time ago? Something that already confirmed is a few foreign companies have received letter from government for such ridiculous control law enforcement! If foreign companies do not follow such rule, they have to give justification back to government on why they failed to do so.
I guess their friends are not competitive enough to Chinese engineer, so they try to enforce the rule helping them out. Is this true? "I don't know"
What I know is... I'm living a in quota country...
